Miniclub 1 and 2:
This swimming course for small children takes place in warm water, with games
to help them develop coordination, and a variety of materials to introduce them to
swimming in a creative way. The physical properties of the water enable children
to get to know their bodies in a new way, and they also learn to regulate how they
use their strength. It won’t be long before they are inventing their own games and
ways of moving, which will boost their confidence. |

Beginners´ courses for children :
Our swimming instructors know that all children are unique and learn in their
own individual way. Therefore they try to work with each child’s strengths, and
to encourage them individually. The beginners’ courses are structured in way
that is appropriate to the age of the children, to help them learn in a completely
relaxed way, move safely and without fear in the water, and do breast stroke.
For children from 4 years, the first strokes are taught in a playful environment
without any pressure. This course serves as an introduction to the “regular”
swimming course. |

Beginners´ courses for adults:
In the beginners’ courses for adults, experienced swimming instructors help
non-swimmers to get used to the water slowly, and assist them in overcoming
their fear of deep water. The lessons are relaxed and are based on the latest
insights in swimming instruction. You can learn any style: breast stroke,
backstroke or front crawl. |

Individual lessons for children and adults:

Front crawl classes for adults:
Front crawl is the fastest and most efficient swimming stroke. It places demands
primarily on the arm muscles. The arms are moved alternately forwards over the
surface of the water, and then backwards along the body underwater. The legs are
outstretched and moved alternately up and down. Unlike in breast stroke, no strain
is placed on the neck as the swimmer is not constantly working to keep his or her
head above water. In our front crawl classes you will learn the basic form of the
stroke in 10 hours. In the advanced course you will have the chance to improve
your technique as well as increase your power and stamina. When correctly
applied, the front crawl is an elegant, efficient swimming style. Front crawl
classes are suitable for anyone who would like to learn a fast, athletic swimming
style, and also particularly suitable for triathletes. |

Aquajogging
This form of gymnastics with a focus on running is practised at the deep end.
It is designed to improve endurance and overall fitness, and is suitable both for
beginners and advanced practitioners. A buoyancy belt is worn to make jogging
easier. Aquajogging is especially beneficial for those with postural or locomotory
problems. No strain is placed on joints, and the heart and circulation are given a
good workout. |
